Clay 1 F block
Welcome to Clay I F Block Blog!We have been exploring hand building techniques. The semester began with pinch pots - practice makes progress.
Using the slab roller each student produced two mugs;
1) function and form
2) texture and design
The current project involves coil construction. "Transforming Nature with Art"
The students have used the coil method to expand and contract their designs. Some students have chosen to interpret their pots in an abstract form while other students valued function in their aesthetic.
